How to Use
Surface Preparation
- New Concrete: Allow to cure for at least 1 month or ensure moisture content is below 14%. Clean thoroughly to remove dust, cement residue, and grease.
- Old Concrete: Remove all loose or deteriorated coatings. Repair cracks with acrylic filler. Clean and treat areas affected by mold or algae with a suitable fungicidal solution before painting.
- Steel (New/Old): Surface must be dry and free from dust, grease, and contaminants. Remove rust or loose old paint completely, then clean before application.
- Other Metal Substrates: Abrade the surface to improve adhesion and wipe clean with an appropriate solvent.
Primer Application
- For oil-based and acrylic lacquer systems: Apply TOA Gold Acrylic Primer #PL800 (Dark Yellow) or #PL900 (Yellow), 1–2 coats.
- For polyurethane systems: Apply TOA Gold Epoxy Primer #EP111 (Red) or #EP800 (Dark Yellow), 1–2 coats.
Topcoat Application
- Apply TOA Gold Oil-Based #GE234 or #GE505, 1–2 coats; or
- Apply TOA Gold Acrylic Lacquer #GL9009, #GL123, or #GL444, 1–2 coats; or
- Apply TOA Gold Polyurethane 2K #GP9999, 1–2 coats.
- Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next coat.
Clear Topcoat Application
- Apply TOA Gold Polyurethane Clear Coat 2K #CL1000, 1–2 coats.
